Volvo various

At the Volvo Design Studio, I worked on a range of projects that pushed the boundaries of in-car digital experiences. From future-forward concept vehicles to production-ready Ui design, my role spanned visual strategy, interaction design, and exploring how digital interfaces can enhance the driving experience. Whether leading teams or defining design directions, my focus was always on creating intuitive, beautifully crafted solutions that align with Volvo’s design philosophy.

Volvo Ambience Concept – A Multi-Sensory Experience

The Volvo Ambience Concept was a bold exploration of how digital interfaces can transform the in-car experience beyond just screens. As the design lead, I worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to create an interface that seamlessly integrated visuals, sound, and scent—turning the cabin into an immersive, mood-driven space. The project culminated in a concept car showcased at Auto China, the largest car design fair in the world, where I also served as the official spokesperson, presenting the vision and design process behind the experience. The challenge was to push innovation while maintaining Volvo’s signature elegance and simplicity, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interaction.

The Volvo Recharge Concept wasn’t just a showpiece—it set the foundation for the UI design in today’s electric Volvo models. As a UI designer, I was responsible for defining the visual strategy, ensuring a cohesive and premium look across all digital touchpoints. The interface focused on clarity, minimalism, and a driver-centric approach, balancing aesthetics with usability. I worked on refining typography, iconography, and color schemes, creating a calm and intuitive digital experience that reflects Volvo’s Scandinavian design heritage. My work also influenced the structure of the infotainment system and instrument cluster, ensuring consistency across different screens and interactions.
